Royal Senegal
Co-Founder & Chief Visionary Officer
Hailing from Missouri City, Texas, Royal Senegal is the youngest of three brothers who co-founded Youth Texas Teams, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth athletes through sports, mental health awareness, and literacy. Royal’s passion for creativity, academics, and athletics drives his dedication to empowering young people to grow on and off the field.
With a natural talent for math and problem-solving, Royal enjoys applying his skills in innovative ways. Outside of academics, he is an avid soccer player, participates in his school choir, and expresses his creativity through acting. Royal’s imagination and leadership shine as he helps youth share their stories through writing for the magazine and through interviews on the Youth Texas Teams YouTube Channel.
Royal is deeply committed to his community and volunteers regularly to support local initiatives, including feeding the homeless. Inspired by his hardworking mother, he strives to make a positive impact in the lives of others and encourages his peers to prioritize both their mental well-being and personal growth.
Through his work with Youth Texas Teams, Royal combines his love for sports, storytelling, and mentorship. He covers exciting sports moments while highlighting mental health, literacy, and leadership. Royal hopes to inspire other youth athletes to find their voice, develop confidence, and pursue their passions. Looking ahead, he plans to attend college, advance his soccer career, and continue making a difference in his community through writing, mentorship, and creative expression.
Aydhen Senegal
Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer
From Missouri City, Texas, Aydhen Senegal is the middle of three brothers who co-founded Youth Texas Teams, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth athletes through sports, literacy, and mental health awareness. As both an athlete and a writer, Aydhen combines his passion for sports with his commitment to empowering peers and giving youth a platform to share their stories
Aydhen excels in social studies and participates actively in football and basketball, using athletics to develop teamwork, resilience, and leadership skills. He is also a member of the Society of Royals, a youth organization focused on promoting mental health awareness. In his free time, Aydhen enjoys playing video games, staying active, and exploring his creative side through music as a talented clarinet player.
Aydhen draws inspiration from his parents’ hard work and dedication, which motivates him to pursue his goals with determination. Despite previous challenges in math, he worked hard, sought extra support, and improved his skills, demonstrating his perseverance and growth mindset.
Through his work with Youth Texas Teams Magazine and the organization’s YouTube channel, Aydhen writes articles, conducts interviews, and shares stories that inspire young athletes. He focuses on youth football teams, mental health, literacy, and leadership, aiming to encourage peers to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams. His favorite team is the Texans, and he takes pride in using the magazine as a tool to motivate others.
Looking ahead, Aydhen plans to play football in college while continuing to impact his community through writing, mentorship, and sports. He is dedicated to helping young athletes realize their potential and thrive both on and off the field.
Koryian Pierre
Co-Founder & Chief Outreach Officer
Koryian Pierre, the eldest of three brothers, is a dedicated co-founder of Youth Texas Teams, a nonprofit organization supporting youth athletes through sports, literacy, and mental health awareness. Growing up in Missouri City, Texas, Koryian has always had a passion for athletics and a strong desire to inspire others through leadership, mentorship, and community service.
Koryian excels in World Geography and enjoys spending his free time playing video games, but his real strengths lie in his athletic ability and leadership skills. He participates in football and basketball and serves as a Royal Ambassador for the Society of Royals, a youth organization focused on community service and promoting mental health awareness among young people.
He is deeply committed to giving back through volunteer work, including initiatives to help feed the homeless. Koryian draws inspiration from his “Meme,” a successful businesswoman and community leader, who instilled in him the values of respect, honesty, and kindness.
In the past, Koryian faced academic challenges that made him ineligible to play football. Through determination, hard work, and persistence, he improved his grades, returned to the field, and strengthened his resolve to stay focused and never give up. These experiences have shaped him into a role model admired by peers, friends, and family.
As a co-founder and writer for Youth Texas Teams Magazine and contributor to the organization’s YouTube channel, Koryian highlights football and basketball while addressing topics such as mental health, literacy, leadership, and teamwork. He hopes to inspire young athletes to believe in themselves, pursue their goals, and explore their creativity through writing and storytelling.
Looking ahead, Koryian plans to attend college, earn scholarships to play sports, and continue building a career that allows him to positively impact his community. Through Youth Texas Teams, he is committed to helping youth athletes across Texas thrive both on and off the field.
